ABOUT AVAMED

The Story Behind The Name

A father who gave over forty years to education. A silent battle with diabetes. And one evening during a festive season — when hospitals were overcrowded and help was far — a cardiac arrest that took him away before anyone could respond.

Late Shri C.S. Yadav didn't get the care he deserved, when he needed it most. His daughter, Dr. Milan Yadav, made a promise that night — no family should ever lose someone because the right care wasn't close enough, personal enough, or good enough.

That promise became AvaMED.

"योगः कर्मसु कौशलम्" Excellence in action is the truest form of devotion.

I have always believed that growth has no single destination — it has directions. One direction led me to education — where I spent over three decades building institutions, leading K-12 academies, speaking at national/International conferences, and shaping a generation to think beyond marks and into meaning. Another led me to entrepreneurship — founding M.Y. Varsity, creating the MindGEN Movement in AI Era — each venture born from the same instinct: if I can see a gap, I must fill it.

That same instinct led me to healthcare.

I trained in clinical nutrition, studied hospital administration, and discovered that the healthcare system suffers from the same problem education once did — it delivers services, but often forgets the human being receiving them. A patient is not a file number. A prescription is not a conversation. A hospital is not a building — it is a relationship between people who need help and people who have the ability to give it.

Lord Krishna's teaching of निष्काम कर्म — selfless action, performed not for reward but because it is right — is the simplest and most powerful philosophy I know. The best way to return what life has given you is to help others live theirs better. Not with charity. With excellence. With systems that work. With care that continues long after the patient walks out.

That is why AvaMED exists. Not to be the biggest hospital in the city — but to be the one that a family thinks of first when it matters most. AvaMED is not just a hospital but an institutional learning for all towards a better human being with a growth mindset always. "There is always a upper space to learn and return more"
